MindMap Acquires Qualesce: Agentic Test Automation Joins the Estate

In August 2026, MindMap Digital completed the acquisition of Qualesce, a United States enterprise test-automation firm built on the Worksoft platform. Qualesce serves around twenty enterprise clients on subscription, with one of the deepest Worksoft benches in the market and an SAP-first practice that runs through S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, Ariba and SuccessFactors. Qualesce's leadership and team continue with the practice, and every client relationship carries over unchanged. This post explains why we bought a testing firm, what each side brings, and what it means for clients of both.

Why testing, and why now

Every enterprise change programme we see stalls in the same place. Not in code, not in configuration — in regression testing. S/4HANA migrations slip on the coverage nobody has time to write. Monthly SAP releases and weekly changes in Salesforce and ServiceNow outrun QA models built for quarterly cycles. And regulated change control — GxP, SOX, financial controls — now wants executed, logged, versioned evidence, not screenshots in a spreadsheet. Scripted automation records screens and breaks on every UI change; the maintenance burden is what kills most programmes. Testing is the bottleneck that decides whether enterprise change ships. Quality landscapes hold real customers, real prices, real payroll; a cloud testing service is a data-transfer event with a regulator's name on it. Test data is masked in place, execution logs stream to the client's own SIEM, and nothing leaves.

The integration playbook

We run the same playbook every time: named workstreams from day one, a day-90 scorecard reviewed by the board, leadership and clients retained, and the acquired capability converted to group-wide IP. With Bluetide Analytics that meant Smartsheet Platinum status within a year and a practice that grew three-fold. With Qualesce, the first ninety days are about putting the agentic library on the Worksoft platform for existing clients and taking the combined offer to the SAP programmes across MindMap's own base.
